Eric R. Stanco

Eric R. Stanco is a shareholder in the office of Stanco Robinson & Pendley, LLP .  He practices primarily in the areas of surety, construction and government contracts, with a concentration in contract bond litigation.  He has handled performance and payment bond claims on public works projects of every description and has advised sureties on all types of disputes that arise out of the construction process.   He has represented sureties in state and federal courts throughout the eastern U.S. and before government administrative boards and in arbitrations.

Mr. Stanco is an active member of many industry groups, including the A.B.A.’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section, Surety and Fidelity Law Committee, and the Forum Committee of the Construction Industry.  He also currently serves as a Vice-Chair of the Bonding and Insurance Committee of the Section of Public Contract Law.

 Mr. Stanco is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Maryland, Massachusetts, Florida, Virginia and the District of Columbia.  He is also a member of the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and other federal courts.  He is a 1984 graduate of Florida State University and received his law degree at Suffolk University Law School in 1988.

Eric R. Stanco (Rick) is a litigator who has for the past two decades focused his practice primarily in the areas of surety bond, construction, government contracts negotiation and commercial litigation.  With a wealth of experience in private practice, he is well equipped to both counsel and protect his construction industry clients in their challenging legal matters.

Kevin W. Pendley was born in Lithia Springs, Georgia. He graduated from Emory University in Atlanta in 1987 with a joint B.A. in History and Political Science. Kevin also holds a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating in May 1990.

 Following a judicial clerkship, Kevin began his career as a litigator representing major national and international manufacturing concerns in defense of products liability actions and in insurance defense matters.  In 1997 Kevin was recruited to a national law firm consulting and representing school boards in Individuals with Disabilities Education Act cases.  In 2001 Kevin was appointed Assistant General Counsel to the Atlanta Public School System in Atlanta, Georgia. Following his family’s move to Naples, Florida in October 2006, Kevin launched a solo practice combining his litigation experience in representing small business and school boards in Southwest Florida.  In the Spring of 2009, Kevin merged his practice with the Washington, D.C.-based law firm of Stanco & Robinson, P.C. to form Stanco, Robinson & Pendley, L.L.P.  The firm  maintains offices in Washington, Annapolis, Maryland and Naples representing clients in general civil and commercial litigation, education law, creditor’s rights and construction, surety and bond matters.

 Kevin is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (1990), The Florida Bar (2007), the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia and Middle District of Florida and all Georgia and Florida state courts. Kevin participates in the professional associations of the National School Boards Association, Council of School Attorneys, Georgia School Boards Association, Council of School Attorneys, Florida School Board Attorneys’ Association and the Florida Bar’s Education Law Committee.  Kevin is "AV" ®peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

 In the community, Kevin has served as a board member of the Cornerstone Foundation in Atlanta and is presently serving a three-year term on the board of the English Speaking Union - Naples Branch.  Kevin is an active member of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Club, the Rotary Club of Naples  and the Association of Emory Alumni.   Kevin is married to the former Marissa D’Agostino of Naples and the Pendley’s have three children.
